liblas3 software package provides ASPRS LiDAR data translation library - C++ version, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblas3
liblas3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblas3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblas3 *
You will get with liblas3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
